Ingredientes

  •     Oil for frying
  • 2 lb corner topside roast
  • 1 lb whole small onions
  • 1/4 lb button mushrooms
  • 1 can whole tomatoes with juice - (15 ounce)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. red wine
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/4 c. flour mixed with
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. minced parsley

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in pan. Add in meat and brown well on all sides. Place in crockpot. Add in the whole onions to the pan and cook till golden, add in the mushrooms to sweat for a few min. Place in the crockpot with the meat. Add in the undrained tomatoes, 1/2 c. water, wine, salt and pepper and herbs.
  2. Cover, and cook on HIGH 1 hour, then turn to LOW for 6 to 8 hrs. Remove meat from cooker and add in the flour-water mix, Cook on HIGH till gravy thickens. Stir in parsley. Slice meat and spoon gravy over.
