Potato Donuts

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 T melted shortening
  • 2 large eggs, well beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

Direcciones

  1. Put together all moist ingredients together. Put together all dry ingredients. Mix well to make soft dough. Roll and cut 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 365 degrees.
  2. Stir sugar till dissolved and cook till slightly stringy. Set in cold water to stop cooking. Put in warm water. Dip donut and put on wax paper.
