Potato Dumplings

Ingredientes

  • 4 medium potatoes, boiled
  • 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons grated onion with juice
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp melted butter
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 qts boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Direcciones

  1. Rice the potatoes. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, salt and pepper. Combine riced potatoes, flour mix, onion, bread crumbs, butter and egg.
  2. Mix well. Shape into 12 small balls and dredge lightly with flour. Chill. Drop dumplings into boiling salted water.
  3. Cover and boil 15 min.
