Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. Active dry yeast
  • 1/3 c. Lukewarm water
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 c. Water, extra
  • 1/2 c. Cracked wheat
  • 60 gm Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 2 Tbsp. Malt
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Cooked rice
  • 1/2 c. Fine oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. Rye flour
  • 1 c. Wholemeal plain flour
  • 4 c. Plain flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk, extra

Direcciones

  1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water with sugar, allow to stand in hot place till frothy. Place extra water and cracked wheat in small saucepan, cook over medium heat till water has been absorbed and mix is thick. Remove from heat, stir in butter, honey, malt, lowfat milk and rice, allow mix to cold. Combine flours and oatmeal in large bowl, stir in wheat and yeast mix, mix to create a dough. Knead mix on floured surface for about 10 min, or possibly till dough springs back when lightly touched with fingers.
  2. Cut dough into 3 pcs for large pots, 4 for medium pots or possibly 8 for small pots. Knead pcs into rounds, place into clean terra cotta flower pots.
  3. Stand in a hot place for 15 min or possibly till doubled in bulk. Glaze with extra lowfat milk, bake in moderate oven 35 min for large pots, 20 min for medium pots or possibly 15 min for small pots or possibly till cooked when tested.
