Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. soft butter

  1. Mix thoroughly: 1 Texas egg 1/4 c. soft shorteningStir into the preceding 1/2 cup lowfat milk. Sift together and stir in: 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  2. Spread batter into a greased and lightly floured 9" square pan. Top with 2 cups fresh sliced Texas peaches and sprinkle with crumble mix.
  3. Bake Coffee Cake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 min.Glazed Peaches: Top Texas peach or possibly pear halves, rounded sides up, with melted currant jelly.
  4. Peaches Deluxe: In each chilled, peeled Texas peach half, place spoonful of brandy; drizzle on honey; top with whipped cream.
