Ingredientes

  • 3 cups pea shoots - rinsed and pat dry.
  • 2 tbsp tiny anchovies - soaked for 10 mins and drain out excess water.
  • Lime juice -as needed
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste (if needed)
  • For the chilli paste
  • 1 small piece belacan – roasted
  • 5 shallots
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 4-5 dried red chillies
  • pound/blend

Direcciones

  1. In the heated oil, fry anchovies, remove and keep aside.
  2. Add chilli paste; fry and stir till aromatic and oil splits.
  3. Put in shoots, sugar, lime juice and salt.
  4. Increase the heat and fry till a texture you prefer.
  5. Add fried anchovies, stir again and remove from heat.
