%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20aromas,%20the%20yeast,%20the%20waiting%20in%20anticipation%20for%20the%20dough%20to%20rise..........%20all%20of%20these%20are%20what%20make%20baking%20bread%20fun.%20I%20have%20learnt%20and%20experimented%20various%20breads%20over%20the%20past%20couple%20of%20years.%20And%20I%20am%20still%20learning%20and%20experimenting.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%20morning%20I%20wake%20up%20and%20check%20Facebook%20and%20what%20do%20I%20see..........%20loaves%20and%20loaves%20of%20pull%20apart%20breads.%20I%20was%20wondering%20how%20is%20it%20that%20everyone%20I%20know%20is%20baking%20a%20pull-apart%20bread.%20Well,%20the%20answer%20was%20in%20all%20the%20blog%20posts..........%20it%20was%20for%20a%20project%20We%20Knead%20to%20Bake.%20I%20instantly%20wanted%20to%20be%20a%20part%20of%20this%20group%20and%20joined%20in%20the%20fun.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAparna%20who%20authors%20at%20My%20Diverse%20Kitchen%20is%20the%20brains%20behind%20this%20project.%20Each%20month,%20Aparna%20chooses%20a%20bread%20recipe%20for%20the%20group%20to%20bake%20within%20that%20month%20and%20on%20the%2024th%20the%20breads%20are%20posted%20on%20the%20various%20blogs%20and%20a%20link%20added%20to%20her%20post.%20I%20for%20one%20have%20never%20participated%20in%20any%20blog%20event%20or%20project%20ever.%20However,%20this%20is%20one%20project%20I%20would%20love%20to%20be%20part%20of%20and%20would%20love%20to%20participate.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20Dough%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMethod%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20may%20use%20a%20food%20processor%20or%20a%20stand%20mixer%20-%20but%20you%20must%20knead%20the%20dough%20by%20hand%20to%20enjoy%20the%20aroma%20and%20to%20get%20some%20therapy%20too%20;)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20small%20bowl,%20dissolve%20the%20sugar%20and%20the%20yeast%20in%20the%201/2%20cup%20of%20warm%20milk.%20Keep%20aside%20for%20about%205%20minutes%20till%20the%20yeast%20mixture%20bubbles%20up.%20This%20is%20called%20proofing%20of%20yeast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%202%203/4%20cup%20of%20flour,%20salt,%20softened%20butter,%20crushed%20rosemary%20and%20garlic%20powder%20in%20the%20food%20processor%20and%20pulse%20a%20couple%20of%20times%20to%20mix.%20Remove%20this%20into%20a%20large%20bowl%20and%20add%20the%20yeast%20mixture%20and%20the%203/4%20cup%20of%20warmed%20milk%20and%20knead%20till%20you%20have%20a%20soft,%20smooth%20and%20elastic/%20pliable%20dough%20which%20is%20not%20sticky.%20Add%20a%20little%20extra%20flour%20if%20your%20dough%20is%20sticking%20-%201%20tablespoon%20at%20a%20time%20to%20get%20the%20right%20pliable%20feel.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EShape%20the%20dough%20into%20a%20ball%20and%20place%20it%20in%20a%20well-oiled%20bowl,%20turning%20the%20dough%20to%20coat%20it%20completely%20with%20oil.%20Cover%20and%20let%20it%20rise%20for%20about%201%20to%201%201/2%20hours%20or%20until%20almost%20double%20in%20volume.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDust%20your%20work%20surface%20lightly%20with%20flour.%20Deflate%20the%20dough,%20shape%20it%20into%20a%20square%20and%20roll%20the%20dough%20out%20into%20a%20larger%20square%20that%20is%20about%2012%E2%80%99%20by%2012%E2%80%9D.%20Brush%20the%20surface%20of%20the%20square%20with%20the%20melted%20butter.%20Evenly%20spread%20the%20hot%20pepper%20and%20cilantro%20spread%20and%20sprinkle%20the%20grated%20mozzarella%20cheese%20on%20top.%20Use%20a%20rolling%20pin%20to%20very%20lightly%20press%20the%20topping%20into%20the%20dough%20to%20ensure%20the%20topping%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20fall%20off%20when%20you%20are%20stacking%20the%20strips.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUsing%20a%20pizza%20cutter,%20slice%20the%20dough%20from%20top%20to%20bottom%20into%206%20long%20and%20even%20strips%20%E2%80%93%20they%20do%20not%20have%20to%20be%20perfect.%20Lay%20each%20strip%20on%20top%20of%20the%20next,%20with%20the%20topping%20facing%20upwards,%20until%20you%20have%20a%20stack%20of%20the%20strips.%20You%20can%20put%20the%202%20strips%20cut%20from%20the%20sides%20in%20the%20middle%20of%20the%20stack%20so%20it%20looks%20neater.%20Using%20a%20pastry%20scraper%20or%20a%20sharp%20knife,%20cut%20straight%20down%20through%20the%20stack%20dividing%20it%20into%206%20equal%20pieces%20(6%20square%20stacks).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrease%20and%20lightly%20flour%20a%209%E2%80%9D%20by%205%22%20loaf%20tin.%20Layer%20the%20square%20slices,%20cut%20sides%20down%20into%20the%20loaf%20tin%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECover%20the%20loaf%20tin%20dough%20with%20a%20towel%20and%20allow%20the%20dough%20to%20rise%20for%20an%20hour.%20Lightly%20brush%20some%20milk%20over%20the%20top%20of%20the%20loaf.%20Bake%20the%20dough%20at%20180C%20(350F)%20for%20about%2030%20to%2040%20minutes%20until%20it%20is%20done%20and%20the%20top%20is%20golden%20brown.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20steps%20for%20cutting%20the%20dough%20and%20layering%20them%20is%20very%20well%20illustrated%20here%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecreated%20for%20this%20project%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20bread%20has%20also%20been%20submitted%20to%20YeastSpotting!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
