Receta Pumped Up Soy Sauce
by Marlene Baird

Make this hot-sweet-salty Pumped Up Soy Sauce and serve it with gyoza, potstickers or a dipping sauce with your favorite protein.

I find it rather amazing that it’s the simplest of “recipes” that get all the raves. It was after a dreadfully long week having arrived home from work later than usual, that I wanted take-out from my local sushi restaurant.

When I discovered no dipping sauce in the “to-go” bag, I figured that I can create a pumped up soy sauce for dipping my gyoza. After all, who wants to just dip into plain old soy sauce anyway.

What surprised me the most, is the disappearing gyoza and dipping sauce from the table. All this occurred while I wasn’t looking. She slipped into the kitchen without me even noticing and figured it was leftovers and helped herself to these tasty morsels.

Luckily I managed to nab two of them before they disappeared.

Oh, and my girl enjoyed them as much as I did.
