Receta Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin Bread
- I love anything pumpkin~ I always have canned pumpkin in my cupboard, so I can make a pie, scones, cookies, bread or a pumpkin dessert anytime:)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t ground ginger
- 1/4 t baking soda
- 1/4 t ground cloves
- 1/8 t ground cardamon
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt, ginger, baking soda, cloves, and cardamon. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl beat together brown sugar and shortening until well combined; beat in eggs. Add pumpkin and milk; mix well. Add flour mixture to sugar-pumpkin mixture, mixing well. Stir in chopped pecans and chocolate chips. Turn batter into a greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake in a 350 oven for 55-60 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack until completely cooled.
