Receta Punjabi Chickpeas Salad
Punjabi Chickpeas Salad Recipe
A simple, nutritious and healthy salad with Chickpeas.
Ingredients:
- Chickpeas – 200 gms, boiled, drained, rinsed
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tblsp
- Onion – 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Coriander Leaves – handful, chopped
- Tomatoes – 1/4 cup, finely chopped, seeds removed
- Chaat Masala Powder – 1 tsp (adjust as per taste)
- Mint Leaves – few, finely chopped
- Lemon Juice – 1 tblsp
- Extra-Virgin Olive Oil – 2 tsp
- Sugar – a small pinch
Method:
1. Dry roast the cumin seeds for 30 seconds and grind to a coarse powder.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
3. Toss well until evenly combined.
4. Keep aside for 15 to 30 minutes.
5. Serve at once.
