Receta Quick Homemade Marinara Sauce
by Marlene Baird

This Quick Homemade Marinara Sauce tastes immeasurably better than even the best supermarket sauce — and it’s made with basic pantry ingredients.

I know all of you are saying right now. “How could she even think about sharing a marinara sauce and state that in can be quick. I get it, I really do. If you all have the time and patience to let your sauce slowly simmer for hours on end, just like my mom did, then I say good for you.

But, if you are like me, you enjoy cooking but don’t always have the time or patience, making this quick sauce is still a thousand times better than any sauce in a jar sitting on the shelves of your local market.

We all know the reality of it and let’s face it, we ain’t got time for that.

Here’s the thing. Don’t use a can of diced tomatoes or even the strained tomatoes to make a quick marinara. Use the canned whole, peeled tomatoes. That is where all the juicy flavor hangs out.
