Ingredientes

  • 1 lb boneless beef sirloin or possibly
  •     top round steak, 3/4" thick
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 med green or possibly red peppers cut 2"-long strips
  • 1 med onion cut into wedges
  • 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1 can Franco-American beef gravy - (10 1/4 ounce)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 c. warm cooked rice

Direcciones

  1. Slice beef into thin strips. (To make slicing easier, freeze beef 1 hour.)
  2. In medium skillet over medium-high heat, heat half the oil. Add in beef in 2 batches and stir-fry till browned. Set beef aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add in remaining oil. Add in peppers, onion and garlic pwdr and stir-fry till tender-crisp. Pour off fat.
  4. Add in gravy and Worcestershire. Heat to a boil. Return beef to pan. Reduce heat to low and heat through. Serve over rice.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
