Ingredientes

  • 2 cups Maida/all
  • purpose flour + 2 tbsp. for dusting
  • ½ tbsp. Baking
  • powder
  • ¼ tbsp. Baking soda
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup melted Butter + ½ tbsp. for greasing
  • 4 tbsp. unsweetened
  • Cocoa powder
  • ¾ tbsp. Vanilla
  • extract
  • 3/4 tin Condensed
  • Milk
  • Pinch of Salt
  • FOR ICING:
  • 2 cups Whipped
  • cream, check NOTES
  • 2 tbsp. Icing sugar
  • ½ tbsp. Vanilla
  • essence
  • FOR FILLING &
  • GARNISH:
  • ½ cup fresh Cherries
  • 3-4 tbsp. Dark chocolate shavings
  • FOR SUGAR SYRUP:
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • ¼ tbsp. Vanilla
  • brush sugar syrup on top of each layer. Gently spread ¼ inch thick icing on top
  • top of this place another cake layer, brush with sugar syrup and spread ¼ inch
  • it with sugar syrup and apply then ½ inch thick icing. Gently using pastry
