Receta Raw Mango Rasam
Ingredients:
- Raw Mango – 1, whole
- Toor Dal – 2 tsp
- Dry Red Chillies – 4
- Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Ghee – 1/2 tsp
- Ginger – little piece
- Curry Leaves – few
- Jaggery – litle
- Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Pressure cook the mango and cool.
2. Peel and remove the seed.
3. Mash well.
4. Soak the dal for 15 minutes and drain well.
5. Grind together with cumin seeds, dry red chillies, curry leaves and ginger.
6. Add the mashed mango to a pan over medium flame.
7. Pour 2 cups of water and ground dal.
8. Add jaggery and little salt.
9. When it starts to boil switch off the flame and remove.
10. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the mustard seeds.
11. Pour into the rasam.
12. Serve hot with rice.
