Pecan Swirl Dinner Rolls
Growing up in New Jersey pecan rolls were always part of the Thanksgiving meal. Here in the Midwest they are hard to find. Last year the gang from NJ came out her for the Thanksgiving holiday and they are returning again this year. As with last year I will recreate those pecan rolls of years gone by once more. I do think mine are much better than those store-bought hockey pucks; and pretty easy to make.

Sprinkle the remaining sugar mixture and the finely chopped pecans evenly on the top of the rolls. Gently press the sugar and pecans into the dough with a rolling pin. Roll the dough tightly into a log; roll from the shorter side. Cut the log into ½ inch pieces and place in the oven for 12 -14 minutes until lightly browned.
