Red Beet Cake (Or Red Devil Cake)

Ingredientes

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 T baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. diced beets, liquid removed (reserve juice, 1/2 c.)

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put together large eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. Beat well. Put together dry ingredients and add in alternately with beet juice to egg mix. Beat well. Stir in beets. Pour into a greased 12 x 20 inch pan. Bake 35 to 40 min or possibly till done. Frost with your favorite frosting. Freezes well. Makes about 24 servings.
