Ingredientes

  • 1 lg. sirloin steak (best if it's fresh, not frzn)
  • 2 c. red wine
  • 2 T oregano
  • 1 T pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt or possibly salt substitute
  • 2 T parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. halved and sauteed mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. sliced and sauteed onion

Direcciones

  1. Cut steak into 4 individual servings. Marinate for 8 hrs in wine, oregano, pepper, salt, parsley, and garlic. Throw away marinade. Brown steak in a frying pan. Add in Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, and onions. Simmer for 1/2 hour.Remove steak, mushrooms and onions into a large casserole with lid. Make pan gravy with remaining juices. Pour gravy over steak, mushrooms and onions. Serve with egg noodles mixed with butter and parsley. Serves 4.
