%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESenate%20has%20been%20on%20my%20list%20to%20try%20for%20quite%20some%20time.%20Gourmet%20hot%20dogs,%20people.%20I'm%20not%20much%20of%20a%20hot%20dog%20person,%20but%20pile%20on%20tons%20of%20delicious,%20creative%20and%20heart-attack%20inducing%20ingredients%20and%20I'm%20all%20for%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt's%20pretty%20small%20on%20the%20inside%20and%20if%20you%20go%20on%20a%20weekend,%20during%20lunch,%20or%20probably%20even%20a%20weeknight,%20you%20may%20have%20to%20wait%20for%20a%20table.%20There%20was%20already%20a%20wait%20on%20a%20Saturday%20for%20lunch%20at%20noon,%20so%20we%20decided%20to%20sit%20at%20the%20bar.%20Like%20I%20said,%20not%20a%20ton%20of%20room...%20tables%20are%20very%20close%20to%20each%20other%20so%20you%20can%20hear%20what%20your%20%22neighbors%22%20are%20talking%20about%20if%20you're%20nosy%20:)%20But%20it's%20worth%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20mean,%20where%20else%20can%20you%20get%20a%20hot%20dog%20named%20after%20Nick%20Lachey,%20or%20one%20topped%20with%20%20braised%20short%20rib%20or%20grippos?!?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20their%20special%20for%20the%20day,%20The%20Kevin%20Bacon%20($12).%20This%20beef%20hot%20dog%20came%20piled%20with%20some%20deep%20fried%20bacon,%20avocado,%20fried%20onion%20strings,%20and%20a%20special%20cheese%20sauce.%20All%20on%20a%20brioche%20bun.%20To%20be%20honest,%20I%20completely%20forgot%20it%20had%20bacon%20on%20it%20and%20thought%20I%20was%20just%20eating%20the%20fried%20onions,%20so%20wish%20I%20had%20tasted%20more%20of%20the%20bacon%20cuz%20let's%20face%20it,%20I%20LOVE%20BACON%20(see%20my%20sign%20off%20for%20proof).%20But%20either%20way%20I%20enjoyed%20it.%20It%20was%20huge%20though,%20I%20couldn't%20finish%20it!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELook%20at%20that%20cheese%20sauce!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20friend,%20Mandy,%20got%20the%20Lindsay%20Lohan%20($10)%20with%20goat%20cheese,%20caramelized%20onions,%20bacon,%20arugula,%20and%20balsamic.%20It%20looks%20and%20sounds%20way%20more%20fancy%20and%20put%20together%20than%20Lindsay%20Lohan%20lol.%20Mandy%20really%20liked%20it!%20I'll%20be%20trying%20that%20when%20I%20go%20back%20one%20day%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20hadn't%20seen%20each%20other%20in%20awhile%20and%20were%20celebrating%20our%20recent%20successes....%20graduating%20from%20Xavier's%20counseling%20program%20and%20getting%20new%20big-girl%20counseling%20jobs...%20and%20so%20that%20called%20for%20some%20dranks%20of%20course!%20I%20got%20the%20Tequila%20Olde%20Fashioned%20($10),%20which%20is%20cazadores%20blanco%20tequila,%20brandied%20cherries,%20orange%20and%20grapefruit%20bitters%20(on%20the%20left).%20Mandy%20got%20the%20Gin%20Paloma%20($9)%20with%20grapefruit,%20tanqueray,%20soda%20&%20St.%20Germain%20(on%20the%20right).%20Aren't%20they%20pretty?%20They%20tasted%20good%20too!%20They%20also%20have%20beer%20and%20wine%20if%20you're%20not%20a%20cocktail%20kinda%20person.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey're%20known%20for%20their%20hot%20dogs,%20but%20if%20you're%20iffy%20about%20the%20hot%20dogs,%20they've%20got%20other%20bites%20too%20(think%20Poutine%20Fries%20and%20Lobster%20BLT).%20I%20definitely%20have%20to%20go%20back%20to%20try%20lots%20more%20dogs%20+%20their%20other%20offerings.%20Plus%20dessert!%20Hello%20chocolate%20&%20bourbon%20bread%20pudding.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20definitely%20need%20to%20get%20my%20butt%20to%20OTR%20more%20often,%20and%20that%20means%20back%20to%20Senate.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPeace,%20and%20bacon%20grease!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
