Ingredientes

  • 4 slc Bacon -- diced
  • 1/4 c. Brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/4 c. Vinegar
  • 1 med Head red cabbage --
  •     Shredded
  • 1 sm Onion -- finely minced

Direcciones

  1. Cook bacon in skillet or possibly slow-cooking pot with browning unit. Set bacon aside. Combine 1 tbs. of bacon drippings in slow-cooking pot with sugar, flour, salt, and pepper. Stir in water and vinegar; add in cabbage and onion.
  2. Cover and cook on low 3 to 4 hrs. Spoon into serving bowl; sprinkle cooked bacon on top.
