Receta Rhineland Sweet Sour Red Cabbage

Ingredientes
- 4 slc Bacon -- diced
- 1/4 c. Brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 c. Water
- 1/4 c. Vinegar
- 1 med Head red cabbage --
- Â Â Shredded
- 1 sm Onion -- finely minced
Direcciones
- Cook bacon in skillet or possibly slow-cooking pot with browning unit. Set bacon aside. Combine 1 tbs. of bacon drippings in slow-cooking pot with sugar, flour, salt, and pepper. Stir in water and vinegar; add in cabbage and onion.
- Cover and cook on low 3 to 4 hrs. Spoon into serving bowl; sprinkle cooked bacon on top.
