Ingredientes

  • 3 c. sliced apples
  • 2 c. water
  • 2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 c. cream
  •     Grnd cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Cook apples in water till tender. Drain. Add in brown sugar and salt. Combine flour and cream and stir till a smooth paste. Add in to apple mix. Cook till mix thickens, stirring constantly. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  2. Note: I add in 1/2 tsp. grnd cinnamon with the brown sugar and then top the dessert with more cinnamon before serving.
  3. NOTES : Jay Says: I've eaten the apple side dishes at Cracker Barrel many times, and this is similar. We like it better because of the cream.
