Receta Roasted Brussels Sprouts
I am trying to eat healthier and that means I need to add more vegetables to my diet. I really like Brussels Sprouts but I have never roasted them before. Roasting is a great way to bring out flavor and natural sweetness of many vegetables. I roasted the Brussels Sprouts with shallots and mini sweet peppers. I add my "new" to me favorite, Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning blend. I would have loved to have sprinkled the top of the roasted vegetables with some crispy bacon and cheese before serving, but I didn't....and honestly, these wonderful roasted Brussels Sprouts didn't need it:)
- 1 lb Brussels Sprouts (1-bag)
- 1 shallot, sliced
- 4 sweet mini peppers, sliced
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 t Mrs Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning blend
- Heat oven to 400
- Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment paper
Cut the stem end off the Brussels Sprouts and remove any loose outer leaves. Place Brussels Sprouts on baking sheet; add sliced shallots and peppers. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning blend, toss to coat.
Roast 35-45 minutes or until veggies are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Shake the pan from time to time to brown the sprouts evenly.
