Roasted Pepper Hummus

I used raw chickpeas for this recipe (soaked overnight and cooked in a pressure cooker) but you can use the canned variety as well.

Ingredientes

  • 1 cup chickpeas or garbanzo, cooked
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, roasted and skin removed
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup tahini
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • Salt to taste

Direcciones

  1. Put everything in a blender and mix well till it forms a smooth paste. If you feel that the hummus is too thick, then you can add little warm water.
