,%20or%20as%20often%20as%20I%20would%20like,%20but%20they%E2%80%99re%20there.%20I%20always%20know%20they%E2%80%99re%20there.%20Same%20with%20my%20sisters%20and%20brothers.%20%20There%E2%80%99s%20a%20certain%20comfort%20in%20nearness.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20my%20son!%20Yes,%20he%E2%80%99s%20away%20all%20summer%20working,%20but%20he%20comes%20back.%20And,%20yes,%20he%20usually%20travels%20for%20the%20month%20of%20January,%20but%20he%20comes%20back.%20There%20was%20New%20Zealand%20with%20the%20darling%20Emily%20for%204%20months,%20but%20he%20came%20back.%20He%E2%80%99s%20moved%20into%20his%20own%20place%20and%20seems%20to%20be%20spreading%20his%20wings%20very%20nicely.%20But%20how%20do%20you,%20after%2023%20years%20of%20being%20a%20Mommy,%20just%20stop%20and%20become%20a%20Mom.%20You%20gals%20with%20children%20out%20there,%20know%20the%20difference,%20don%E2%80%99t%20you?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20then%20there%20are%20my%20girls,%20Ernie,%20MaryJane,%20Sandra,%20Ceci,%20Nicole,%20Jeannie%20%E2%80%A6%20I%20have%20NEVER%20really%20liked%20women,%20nor%20had%20many%20female%20friends.%20We%20really%20are,%20for%20the%20most%20part,%20vile,%20petty,%20bitchy%20creatures.%20You%20girls%20are%20the%20exceptions%20to%20the%20rule.%20My%20life%20has%20been%20fuller%20and%20richer%20with%20each%20and%20every%20one%20of%20you%20in%20it.%20Man,%20oh,%20man,%20am%20I%20gonna%20miss%20you%20broads!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJinkies,%20sounds%20like%20I%E2%80%99m%20dying.%20No%20dying,%20just%20the%20beginning%20of%20something%20new%20and%20wonderful.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20want%20you%20all%20to%20visit.%20Often.%20Mi%20casa,%20es%20su%20casa.%20Please!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20may%20be%20a%20born%20and%20bred%20New%20Yorker,%20but%20really%20I%20am%20not.%20My%20mother%20will%20tell%20you%20that%20my%20first%20words%20were%20%E2%80%98when%20are%20we%20moving?%E2%80%99%20I%20want%20a%20garden%20and%20fresh%20air%20and%20a%20peaceful%20existence,%20away%20from%20touristas%20(though%20they%20still%20will%20not%20be%20escaped%20during%20the%20summer),%20with%20the%20most%20wonderful%20creature%20I%20have%20ever%20had%20the%20pleasure%20of%20knowing%20and%20loving.%20It%E2%80%99s%20a%20leap%20of%20faith%20that%20I%20am%20so%20happy%20and%20ready%20to%20make.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20I%20have%20already%20made%20a%20really%20good%20new%20friend,%20and%20am%20looking%20forward%20to%20getting%20to%20know%20her%20better.%20And%20of%20course%20there%20are%20the%20male%20friends%20(one%20zanier%20than%20the%20next),%20but%20a%20girl%20really%20needs%20more%20than%20just%20testosterone%20in%20her%20life!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHmmmmmm%20%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow,%20where%20was%20I%20going%20with%20this?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAh,%20yes,%20moving,%20cleaning%20out%20cabinets,%20cleaning%20out%20the%20freezer,%20trying%20to%20use%20things%20up%20so%20they%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20to%20be%20packed%20and%20moved.%20Poking%20around%20in%20the%20freezer,%20I%20found%20a%20pork%20loin%20roast.%20Okay,%20let%E2%80%99s%20use%20this.%20It%E2%80%99s%20also%20large%20enough%20to%20send%20leftovers%20home%20with%20the%20boy.%20Now%20a%20search%20through%20the%20recipes%20I%20have%20sitting%20in%20the%20wings.%20I%20usually%20type%20them%20up%20and%20save%20them%20as%20drafts%20waiting%20for%20me%20to%20get%20around%20to%20them.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20my%20saved%20recipes%20I%20found%20this%20recipe%20by%20Caprial%20Pence%20from%20Caprial%20Cooks%20for%20Friends.%20So%20I%20used%20up%20the%20pork%20roast%20AND%20the%20rest%20of%20ONE%20of%20the%20bottles%20of%20balsamic%20vinegar%20in%20my%20pantry.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh,%20just%20a%20warning,%20this%20is%20one%20of%20those%20recipes%20that%20you%20take%20the%20pan%20from%20the%20top%20of%20the%20stove,%20put%20it%20into%20the%20oven%20to%20finish%20cooking%20and%20then%20take%20it%20out%20of%20the%20oven.%20%20Now,%20sweetheart,%20avert%20your%20eyes%20for%20this%20next%20part%20%E2%80%A6%20I%20have%20a%20terrible%20habit%20of%20taking%20screaming%20hot%20pans%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20and%20then%20grabbing%20the%20handle.%20I.DID.IT.AGAIN.%20These%20burns%20are%20no%20where%20near%20the%20burns%20from%20the%20last%20picture%20show,%20but%20two%20finger%20pads%20and%20a%20wrist%20now%20bear%20the%20mark%20of%20a%20dopey%20woman.%20I%20really%20have%20to%20learn%20to%20drape%20something%20over%20the%20handle%20so%20this%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20happen%20again.%20And,%20no,%20the%20answer%20isn%E2%80%99t%20don%E2%80%99t%20make%20dishes%20like%20that%20again%20%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20so%20easy%20and%20so%20delicious!%20Just%20a%20complete%20no%20brainer.%20I%20served%20it%20with%20broccoli%20and%20Israeli%20couscous.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20garlic,%20rosemary,%20brown%20sugar,%20and%20balsamic%20vinegar%20in%20a%20saucepan%20over%20high%20heat%20and%20bring%20to%20barely%20a%20boil.%20Lower%20heat%20and%20simmer%205%20minutes%20more,%20just%20until%20sugar%20has%20dissolved.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20300%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENOTE:%20My%20roast%20was%20not%20a%20tenderloin%20so%20there%20was%20no%20tying%20to%20make%20it%20even%20and%20%E2%80%93%20SIGH%20%E2%80%93%20it%20was%20still%20a%20little%20frozen%20in%20the%20center,%20so%20I%20bumped%20up%20the%20heat%20to%20325%20and%20cooked%20it%20for%20a%20longer%20period%20of%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeason%20pork%20with%20salt%20and%20pepper.%20Heat%20olive%20oil%20over%20high%20heat,%20in%20a%20very%20large,%20ovenproof%20saute%20pan,%20until%20smoking%20hot.%20Add%20the%20pork%20and%20sear%20well%20on%20all%20sides.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrush%20pork%20liberally%20with%20the%20glaze%20and%20put%20the%20pan%20in%20the%20oven.%20Roast%20the%20pork%20for%2015%20minutes,%20brush%20with%20more%20glaze%20and%20continue%20roasting%20for%2015%20to%2020%20minutes%20more.%20Let%20rest%20for%205%20minutes%20before%20slicing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
