Receta Roasted Red Pears with a Honey Maple Sauce

Roasted Red Pears with a Honey Maple Sauce

- 4 red pears, cut into eights (leave on the skin)
- ⅛ cup honey
- 1 Tablespoon Imitation Maple Extract
- ⅛ cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean poaste
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
Coat an 8 x 8 pan with about ½ teaspoon of butter.
Arrange the sliced pears skin-side up on the buttered baking pan. set aside.

Pour over the pears.
Place in the oven and roast for about 15 minutes.
Remove pan from oven, use a spoon or tongs to flip the pears, then return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
Serve immediately while still hot.
Don’t forget to drizzle some of that incredible Honey Maple sauce on each serving!

Heavenly! That is all I can say about the sauce that is produced when the honey caramelizes the red pears as they roast.Make sure you have a rubber spatula to scoop up all the deliciousness that is in the pan. I kid you not. You will want to stick your finger into the gooey caramelized sauce over and over again.I used a Greek Yogurt whipped to death as a topping on my roasted red pears, but my mind was imagining a large scoop of vanilla bean ice cream with this exact sauce drizzled over it. Okay more like poured and smothered on top, but at least I was just imagining it. Enough already. I just hope you enjoy this recipe and many more featuring pears and maple.
