Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Water
  • 1 x 9-ounce pkg condensed mincemeat
  • 3/4 c. Shortening
  • 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/3 c. Molasses
  • 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. Rolled oats
  •     Pwdr sugar (optional)

Direcciones

  1. For filling, in a saucepan bring water to boiling. Add in mincemeat; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 3 min, stirring often. Cold.
  2. In a large bowl beat shortening with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Gradually add in granulated sugar, beating until fluffy. Beat in molasses. Add in flour; beat until combined. Use a wooden spoon to stir in oats.
  3. Press one/half of the oatmeal mix onto the bottom of a greased 9x9x2-inch baking pan. Spread mincemeat filling onto oatmeal mix. Drop remaining mix by teaspoonsfuls onto filling. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 min or possibly until light brown. Cold in the pan on a wire rack. If you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into diamonds or possibly bars.
