Roch's Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredientes

  • 2 clv garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. warm lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Direcciones

  1. Thoroughly grease a 2 qt casserole using 1 Tbsp of butter. Place halved garlic cloves in bottom of casserole. Spread half of the potatoes in the dish. Cover with half of cheese. Add in remaining potatoes; top with remaining cheese. Mix warm lowfat milk, salt and pepper; pour over potatoes. Dot with remaining butter. Bake in preheated oven at 375F for 60 min or possibly till tender.
  2. Reduce heat; add in more lowfat milk if potatoes seem dry before they are tender.
