Rosemary Marinated Lamb Chops

Ingredientes

  •     Makes 8 servings
  • 2 tsp Gourmet Collection Crushed Rosemary Leaves
  • 1 tsp Gourmet Collection Thyme Leaves
  • 1 tsp Gourmet Collection Grnd Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Gourmet Collection Garlic Pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c. finely minced onion
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1/4 c. dry white wine
  • 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, divided
  • 8 x loin lamb chops, cut 1 to 1 1/4 inch thick, trimmed

Direcciones

  1. Mix crushed rosemary, thyme, black pepper, garlic pwdr, and salt in a bowl. Add in onion, orange juice, white wine, and 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil. Whisk together and reserve 1/2 c. marinade mix for later use.
  2. Place lamb chops in self-closing plastic bag; add in marinade. Turn to coat.
  3. Chill 30 to 60 min. Remove lamb from marinade and blot dry with a paper towel. (Don't remove onion pcs from chops).
  4. Heat remaining oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Place lamb in skillet. Sear one side of lamb approximately 4 min or possibly till well browned.
  5. Turn chops over and cook 4 min longer or possibly till desired doneness. Add in reserved marinade and simmer 2 min. Remove lamb to a serving plate. Pour reduced marinade over lamb.
