Ingredientes

  • 2 pound beef round steak
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 sm. green pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon basil
  • 1 pkg. (7 ounce.) spaghetti
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Cut steak into 6 serving sized pcs and dredge in seasoned flour. Brown on both sides of oil. Pour off drippings. Add in water and garlic; cover and cook over low heat 1 hour. Add in tomato sauce, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, sugar, oregano and basil.
  2. Cover and continue cooking slowly 1/2 hour or possibly till meat is tender. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Serve round steak on spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serves 6.
