Ingredientes

  • 1 round steak, 1/2 inch thick (2 lbs. or possibly larger)
  • 3 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. grated onion
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1/3 c. cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Direcciones

  1. Tenderize steak by pounding with meat mallet. Mix together bread crumbs, grated onion, parsley, 1/3 c. soup, melted butter and seasonings. Spread stuffing mix on round steak roll as for a jelly roll. Place rolled steak on heavy duty aluminum foil in baking dish.
  2. Mix remaining soup with 1/2 can lowfat milk and pour over steak. Fold foil around steak and soup mix and seal well. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till steak is tender. Open foil and allow steak to brown last 10 min of cooking time. Use the mushroom soup sauce to make gravy. Slice rolled steak into 1 inch slices. Makes 8-12 servings.
