Ingredientes

  • 6 x Large eggs
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Sifted all purpose. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 9 Tbsp. Melted butter
  • 3/4 c. Lukewarm lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. White rum or possibly
  • 1 tsp Rum extract

Direcciones

  1. Beat Large eggs with sugar till very light. Add in flour and baking pwdr which have been sifted together and blend thoroughly. Add in butter and lowfat milk and beat vigorously. Pour into pan which has been greased and floured. Bake 30-35 min or possibly till cake tester comes out clean. Oven Temp 325 degrees
  2. Syrup: Cook sugar in water till a thin syrup is formed. Remove from heat and add in rum. Unmold the cake and while it is still warm, spoon rum syrup over it, allowing it to soak in.
