Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Grated orange peel
  • 2 ounce Grated semisweet chocolate
  • 1/3 c. Melted butter
  • 3 lrg Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 3 pkt (8-ounce) cream cream cheese
  • 12 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 3/4 c. Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
  •     Chocolate curls for garnish
  •     Whipped cream for garnish

Direcciones

  1. CRUST: Mix together the crumbs, sugar, grated orange peel, chocolate and melted butter.
  2. Combine well and press into a heavily buttered 8- inch springform pan, proportionately covering the bottom and about an inch of the sides.
  3. FILLING: Beat together the Large eggs and sugar til very light. Soften the cream cheese and cream it til it is fluffy. Add in gradually to the egg mix, beating to combine thoroughly.
  4. In the top of a double boiler, over simmering water, combine the chocolate and the butter. When the chocolate is melted and mixed with the butter, remove from the heat and add in the lowfat sour cream and the vanilla. Mix.
  5. Add in to the cheese mix and mix til smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 2 hrs or possibly til the center of the cake is hard. Cold on a rack and chill overnight.
  7. Decorate with chocolate curls and whipped cream.
  8. NOTE: The amount of vanilla extract called for seems excessive. Use your judgement.
