Ingredientes

  • 32 sm Prawns, cleaned, shelled and deveined (800 g)
  • 4 Tbsp. Onion, sliced (60 g)
  • 40 gm Ginger
  • 40 gm Onion
  • 40 gm Garlic
  • 120 gm Red chilli paste
  • 60 ml Tomato puree
  • 10 x Cm galangal slice, (or possibly substitute ginger)
  • 10 x Cm lemon grass
  • 4 x Salam
  • 60 ml Tomato ketchup
  • 40 ml Oil
  •     Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 x Green chillies, diced
  • 4 x Red chillies, cut into pcs
  • 2 x Onions, sliced and fried

Direcciones

  1. HEAT 40 ml oil in a wok. Add in the sliced onion and the prawns. Saute/fry for one minute.
  2. Add in sambal sauce to the prawns and toss for five min or possibly until done.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Serve garnished with sauteed onion, diced red chilli and green chilli.
  5. To prepare the sambal sauce: Heat oil in a wok. Add in the sambal paste and all the remaining ingredients. Keep stirring for 30 min. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. When cold, store in an airtight jar in a refrigerator.
