Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Caramels
  • 1/4 c. Warm water
  • 1 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. Powdered sugar

Direcciones

  1. Place caramels and water in a double boiler. Heat and stir continuously till a smooth creamy texture is obtained. Remove from heat and cold.
  2. Place butter in mixing bowl, add in powdered sugar and mix at low speed to obtain a smooth paste. Gradually add in the caramel mix and beat on medium speed. Add in a little more powdered sugar if you wish a stiffer frosing.
  3. Use to frost your favorite cake. Will frost a 2 layer 9-inch cake.
  4. Good on spice cake.
