Santa Fe Broiled Chicken With Green Chilies

Ingredientes

  • 2 x Cloves garlic
  • 1 can (4-ounce.) minced green chilies
  • 1 x Fresh jalapeno pepper, deveined and seeded
  • 2 Tbsp. Cilantro
  • 3 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 x Chicken broiler halves or possibly 8 quarters

Direcciones

  1. Place garlic, green chilies, jalapeno pepper, cilantro, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice,cumin, pepper and salt in blender. Puree till quite smooth, leaving a few large pcs as they will char under the broiler Spread over chicken and marinate for 1 hour. Drain excessive marinade from chicken and reserve.
  2. Preheat broiler with rack 6 inches from heat. Place pcs bone side up in shallow broiling pan lined with heavy duty foil. Broil chicken for 8 min before turning and broil 5-6 min with skin side up. Brush with more marinade. Finish broiling more than 6 inches awayy from heat. Chicken should be crisp-browned and tender.
