Sauce Rosee Tomato Cheese Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 x Cloves garlic , chopped
  • 1 can (14 ounce) of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Basil
  •     Salt & fresh grnd pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 1/2 c. Warm lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese (fresh)

Direcciones

  1. Heat 2 tbsp butter and saute/fry garlic. Add in tomatoes, salt, pepper and basil.
  2. Simmer while preparing rest of dish. Heat remaining 2 tbsp of butter and stir in flour. Cook, stirring till thickened. Gradually add in warm lowfat milk, cook and stir till thickened. Add in tomato mix and nutmeg, then stir in Parmesan cheese.
