Ingredientes

  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 sausages (breakfast or possibly other)
  • 1 c. minced carrots
  • 1 c. minced celery
  • 1/3 c. minced onion
  • 12 ounce. canned corn with red and green peppers
  • 10 ounce. sharp Cheddar, shredded
  • 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
  • Snipped parsley

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter, carrots, celery and onion in large saucepan till bubbly. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 20 min.
  2. Meanwhile, fry sausages. Drain. Slice into bite size pcs.
  3. Stir flour into vegetable mix. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, till mix is bubbly. Stir in water, salt, celery salt, paprika, pepper and corn. Heat to boiling.
