Sausage Burger (Frita Cubana)

Ingredientes

  • 1 x pepperoni or possibly Spanish-style chorizo link (2 1/2 ounce)
  • 1 lb boneless chuck trimmed of fat
  • 4 x hamburger buns
  •     Ketchup
  •     Minced onions
  • 1/4 c. shoestring potatoes

Direcciones

  1. Grind sausage or possibly process in food processor to size of peppercorns or possibly smaller. Add in chuck and process till mix stands up on blade. Remove meat and pick through to remove connective tissue.
  2. Form into 4 patties. Grill over medium heat 3 to 4 min per side.
  3. Serve on buns with ketchup and onions to taste and sufficient shoestring potatoes to give sandwich some crunch.
  4. This recipe yields 4 burgers.
