Sausage Goulash

Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt Wall's pork sausages, (45g)
  • 1 x Onion finely minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. White wine vinegar
  • 1 c. Tomato juice
  • 1/4 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 2 tsp Plain flour

Direcciones

  1. Arrange sausages in a heavy, unheated frying pan and cook slowly over low heat till browned
  2. Heat butter in a large saucepan and saute/fry onion till soft and yellow. Don't allow onion to brown
  3. Sprinkle with paprika and caraway seeds, then continue to saute/fry for another 4 min
  4. Add in vinegar and sausages, stir over low heat till sausages are well coated with spices
  5. Add in tomato juice, cover and bring to the boil, reduce heat, simmer for 15 min
  6. Stir in lowfat sour cream blended with flour and seasoned to taste with salt if necessary
  7. Heat thoroughly but don't boil: serve with parsley and rice
