Ingredientes

  • 1 pound sage-flavored bulk pork sausage
  • 2 tbsp. minced onion
  • 6 tbsp. flour
  • 1 quart. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd nutmeg
  • Dash Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash warm pepper sauce (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Combine sausage into a large saucepan and cook over medium-low heat. Add in onion. Cook and stir till transparent. Drain, discarding all but 2 Tbsp. of drippings. Stir in flour. Cook over medium-low heat about 6 min or possibly till mix bubbles and turns golden brown. Stir in lowfat milk and add in seasonings. Cook stirring till thickened. To serve, slice biscuits and spoon gravy over halves. Serves 4-6.
