Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Sage-flavored bulk pork
  •     Sausage
  • 2 Tbsp. Finely minced onion
  • 6 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 1 quart Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp Poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  •     Dash Worcestershire sauce
  •     Dash warm pepper sauce

Direcciones

  1. Crumble sausage into a large saucepan; cook over medium-low heat. Add in onion; cook and stir till transparent. Drain, discarding all but 2 Tbsp. of drippings. Stir in flour; cook over medium-low heat about 6 min or possibly till mix bubbles and turns golden brown. Stir in lowfat milk. Add in seasonings; cook, stirring, till thickened.
  2. Serve over biscuits or possibly over chicken fried steak.
  3. Yield: 4 servings.
