Sausage Linguine Pie

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 (1 lb.) pkg. linguine, uncooked (spaghetti will do)
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage, casing removed
  • 1 (14 to 16 ounce.) jar spaghetti sauce, divided
  • 2 Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. ricotta cheese (I used cottage cheese)
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced spinach, thawed and well liquid removed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare linguine according to package directions; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in a medium skillet over medium heat, cook sausage till no longer pink. Break meat into small pcs; drain. Stir in 1 c. spaghetti sauce.
  3. In a medium bowl, blend remaining spaghetti sauce and Large eggs. Add in linguine; toss to coat. Spread linguine mix on bottom and sides of a greased 9-inch pie plate, forming a small rim.
  4. In a small bowl, combine ricotta, spinach and salt; mix well. Spread proportionately in linguine shell. Top with meat mix. Bake till warm, about 30 min. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Let stand 5 min before cutting. Serves 6.
