Sausage 'N Egg Casserole

Ingredientes

  • 3/4 pound bulk pork sausage (or possibly minced ham)
  • 10 Large eggs
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, optional
  • 6 ounce. (1 1/2 c.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. croutons (double this) (garlic/onion flavored)

Direcciones

  1. Brown sausage over medium heat. Drain fat. Place sausage in greased 2 qt casserole dish (9x13).
  2. In a bowl, beat Large eggs, stir in lowfat milk, salt and cheese. Pour egg mix over sausage. Sprinkle with croutons. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for about 45 min to 1 hour. Let stand 5 min before serving. Makes 8-10 servings. (If you double the croutons you can increase the lowfat milk to 2 or possibly 3 c..) Chill overnight/as long as possible.
