Ingredientes

  • 1 pound Italian sweet sausage
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 4 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. minced fresh parsley or possibly 1 teaspoon dry
  • 20 jumbo shells, parboiled & liquid removed
  • 2 jars (15 1/2 ounce. each) Ragu spaghetti sauce, divided
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prick sausage with skewer or possibly fork and parboil in a small amount of water, in covered skillet for 5 min. Drain. Chop sausage and fry along with onions till brown and crumbly, stirring often. Spoon off excess fat. Add in egg, bread and parsley; mix thoroughly.
  3. Fill warm parboiled shells with sausage mix, suing a tsp. or possibly butter knife.
  4. Pour 1/2 the Ragu spaghetti sauce into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Arrange shells in pan.
  5. Pour remaining sauce over shells. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 min or possibly till warm and bubbly.
  6. Remove foil; sprinkle grated cheese over top and bake uncovered 10 min more. Serves 4.
