Sauteed Mushrooms and Onions Recipe
Ingredients:
- Shiitake Mushrooms – 100 gms, sliced
- Button Mushrooms – 100 gms, sliced
- Onions – 1/2 cup, chopped
- White Wine (or Vinegar) – 2 tblsp
- Thyme – 1 sprig, chopped
- Thick Cream – 1/2 cup
- Butter – 2 tblsp
- Salt as per taste
- Pepper Powder as per taste
Method:
1. Heat butter in a pan over medium flame.
2. Add the mushrooms and onions.
3. Sprinkle salt and pepper powder on top.
4. Stir well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
5. Remove the pan from the flame and add the wine.
6. Place it over the flame and add thyme.
7. Cook for another 2 minutes.
8. Add the cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
9. Adjust seasoning if required.
10. Transfer to a bowl.
11. Serve.
