Sauteed Steelhead Steaks

Ingredientes

  • 3 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 x Steelhead steaks (4 to 8), about 1" thick
  • 1 c. Minced onion
  • 2 x Garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 Tbsp. Parsley
  • 2 x Ripe tomatoes peeled, seeded,
  •     and minced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in good-sized skillet. Add in the steaks and saute/fry for 2 to 4 min, turn and finish cooking. Remove the steaks and keep them hot. Add in onions, garlic and seasonings to the skillet and cook for about 2 min then add in the tomatoes. Arrange the steaks over the mix, cover and cook over a medium-low heat for about 10 min, till the fish flakes easily with a fork.
