Ingredientes

  • 4 c. Cooked Beans (Adzuki Beans, Pinto
  •     Kidney Beans, Black Beans Anasazi Beans)
  • 2 c. Water Or possibly Stock
  • 2 Tbsp. Lime juice
  • 2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil *Note
  • 2 sm Onions finely minced
  • 2 tsp Chili pwdr
  • 2 tsp Sea salt Or possibly...
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce, Low Sodium Tamari Soy Sauce

Direcciones

  1. NOTE: Original recipe used 4 tsp extra virgin olive oil.
  2. Simmer all ingredients till thick. Garnish with plain yogurt.
  3. TO COOK BEANS: Rinse beans. Cook 2 c. beans in 5 c. water. Bring water to a boil. Add in beans. Turn temperature to low or possibly simmer. Cover withheavy lid. Simmer 2 to 3 hrs till tender. Don't season till beans aredone.
  4. VARIATION: Saute/fry minced green peppers, 2 finely minced garlic cloves, 2 stalks of celery minced, till barely tender. Add in to soup and simmer.
