Ingredientes

  • 24 ounce cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 ounce lowfat sour cream
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 6 ounce smoked trout diced
  • 1/3 c. minced chives
  • 3 ounce melted butter
  • 1 x egg white
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed bagel chips

Direcciones

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, egg white, and the bagel chips. Press them into the bottom of a 10-inch spring form pan. Bake for 8 min to crisp up. Remove from oven and cold. Reduce the heat to 250 degrees.
  3. In a mixing bowl fitted with a paddle attachment, blend the cream cheese, cornstarch, salt, and lowfat sour cream. Once combined, add in the Large eggs. Mix in trout and chives. Pour the batter over the cooled crust. Bake for 1 hour.
  4. Turn the oven off and leave the cake in the oven for an additional hour without opening the door. Cold on a rack for at least 4 hrs. Carefully unmold. Keep refrigerated till ready to serve.
  5. This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
