Receta Savory Creole Sweet Potato Casserole

I like yams, but for home dining, it is just fine to use a can of sweet potatoes in light syrup
|

|
First the Pickapeppa Sauce, then pepper ...
|
|
|
You'll need 1 piece of crumbled or diced bacn and a total of 3 Tbs of bacon drippings
|
|
|
Get that bacon crispy, then leave 1Tbs of bacon fat in the skillet
|
|
|
Dice an onion and saute the onion in the skillet until it's translucent
|
|
|
Add the salt to the potatoes...
|
|
|
...when the onions have cooked, add the potato mixture, mash, remove from heat and whip in the raw egg. Then it goes into your buttered casserole
|
