Ingredientes

  • 30 ounce radishes
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. saltine crumbs
  • 1 tsp minced parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. horseradish
  •     Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp paprika

Direcciones

  1. Cut radishes in half and cook till tender-crisp, reserving 1/4 c. liquid.
  2. Put radishes in a 2-qt dish. Combine reserved liquid, onion, mayonnaise, horseradish, salt and pepper. Pour over radishes, sprinkle crumbs on top and dot with butter. Sprinkle parsley and paprika proportionately over all. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
  3. Makes 6 servings.
  4. Note:This recipe is equally good using carrots. Substitute 2 1/2 pounds carrots, julienned, for the halved radishes. Cook carrots till tender, reserving 1/4 c. liquid, then follow recipe directions.
